    College-Based Organization

    College of Education

Since its establishment in 1984, the Education Student Council (ESC) of West Visayas State University - Main Campus has been the official governing body of education students, upholding a legacy of leadership, service, integrity, and excellence.

As future nation builders, we recognize the vital role teachers play in shaping minds, fostering growth, and building a better society. The ESC is committed to ensuring that every Taga-Ed is heard, supported, and empowered, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and values necessary for the teaching profession. Through active advocacy and student engagement, we cultivate a culture of excellence, honor, and lifelong learning.

Guided by the university’s core principles, the ESC strives to create an environment where education students can thrive academically, professionally, and personally. Since 2018, it has been recognized as a UNESCO-accredited club, offering meaningful programs, initiatives, and partnerships that promote holistic development. By nurturing future educators who are compassionate, competent, and committed, the ESC continues to shape the next generation of teachers who will inspire, lead, and make a lasting impact in the field of education.
