    CIPHER (Computing Innovations & Programming Hub for Education & Research) is an academic organization that aims to gather Computer Science students under one umbrella in order to advance innovation, foster leadership and enhance learning experiences through a variety of academic and research-focused initiatives.

     

     

    Mission

    CIPHER is committed to create a unified and dynamic community of Computer Science students at West Visayas State University, aiming to cultivate excellence in programming, research, and innovation by providing platforms for leadership, technical advancement, and collaborative development, seeking to empower students through a strong emphasis on applied computing, ethical technology practices, and interdisciplinary problem-solving to become future-ready member in the modern world.

    CIPHER as a distinguished academic organization, recognized for its outstanding contributions to education, innovative research, and leadership in technological initiatives, aspiring to be a driving force in shaping a culture of academic excellence, creativity, and socially relevant computing that transforms students into competent, ethical, and forward-thinking professionals in the digital age.
