She reads as the words sing. Words that are not merely ink on parchment, but living things, embedded with the power to bridge the chasm between then and now.

She is Lola Basyang, and this is her modern adventure. A quest not for gold or glory, but for the heart of a people— and the stories waiting to be told.

We, as the the onlookers, are left with the questions— what will we offer in this exchange? What stories do we hold that waits to be illuminated by the same soft glow? What message will we share when the time comes to barter, to "buylog?"
